Of course, my role-model in all things creative,
my great-grandmother,
created lasting heirlooms and gifts for her two daughters,
as a working single mother.
She made Christmas dresses for them out of one of her own.
She gathered and saved, using all she had.
Her thrift/glamour sensibility would be right at home
here in 2009!
